How to use these figures

The outputs from this tool give you a specification to take to colocation providers when requesting quotes. When approaching operators, you should specify your total IT load in kW, your rack density requirement in kW per rack, your redundancy requirement, and your target power feed specification.

Most operators will require a minimum commitment period and will quote based on your power draw, rack count and specific requirements. Having these figures ready before initial contact shortens the sales cycle considerably and signals to the operator that you know what you need.

If your density exceeds 20 kW per rack, use the AI Readiness and GPU Colocation Checker to assess whether you need facilities with enhanced cooling capability.
